Podolski ruled out for ten weeks

Arsenal striker,Lukas Podolski has been ruled out of action for at least 8-10 weeks,with a hamstring injury.
Podolski was on Tuesday stretchered off ,in the second leg of Arsenal’s Champions League qualifiers against Fenerbache.
Arsenal manager,Arsene Wenger,revealed that the scans weren’t encouraging and that the German will be out for over two months.
“It is bad news about Lukas Podolski as he will be out for eight to 10 weeks.”
“His hamstring is much more damaged than we thought at the start. It is very disappointing and we have paid a very heavy price for that win [over Fenerbahce]. We have to be patient now,” Wenger told the club’s official website.
Podolski joins the swelling list of players that Arsenal have injured.
Having re-signed former player,Mathieu Flamini on a two-year deal,Wenger would once again come under more pressure to sign players,in order to cover up for the injured ones.
