Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has said that he is still hurting from his side's 4-0 thrashing in the hands of the European champions, Real Madrid last season.
Madrid produced one of their best ever performances, beating Bayern over two legs in the semifinals of last season's UEFA Champions League.
However, Guardiola noted said that his side's humiliation in Europe back in April is an evidence that there is still much to work on at the Allianz Arena.
"We were beaten 4-0 by Real Madrid last season, so there is still room for improvement," Guardiola said at a press conference ahead of this weekend's game against Eintracht Frankfurt.
"We are not at the level yet where we need to be. But we know in which areas we have to improve. I know it and the team knows it as well."
