Senate President Bukola Saraki announced that due to decisions made in some executive sessions, some Committee Leadership in the Nigerian Senate are to be changed.

He list the new committee heads as follows


Senator Phillip Tanimu Aduda now Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Upstream Petroleum.

Senator Ahmed Ogembe now Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Marine Transport.

Senator Ovie Omo-Agege now Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Land Transport.

Senator Kaura Tijjani now Chairman, Senate Committee on Federal Character.

Senator Baba Kaka Garbai now Chairman, Senate Committee on Rules and Business.
