Barely one month after about 200 persons were killed in the troubled Southern Kaduna region of Kaduna state, fresh violence returned to the area today, with gunmen this morning killing five persons in the village of Fadan Karshi.
A traditional title holder and resident of the area confirmed the latest development in a text message sent to our New York office. The account was furtherconfirmed by a senior military officer.
Fadan Karshi in Sanga local government area, the scene of today’s violence, was also attacked during last month killing spree.
