Sports Thibaut Courtois to sign a new deal with Chelsea

Thibaut Courtois is confident that he will sign a contract extension with Chelsea Football Club.

Manager Jose Mourinho this season installed the Belgian as Chelsea's first choice goalkeeper,which resulted in Petr Cech now benched by the 22-year old.

Courtois has justified why Mourinho showed so much faith in him,putting up a good show in the three games that he has manned the post for the Blues this season.

Currently on national assignment,Courtois who was in post for Belgium's 2-0 win over Australia,revealed that he will possibly sign the deal when he gets back to Stamford Bridge.

"It's not yet signed," Courtois told Sky Sports. "I am with the national team so it is difficult, but when I am back at Chelsea I will probably sign the new contract."

Courtois is expected to sign a new-five year deal with Chelsea.
