Sokoto State's governor Aminu Tambuwal during the weekend urged the militant group, Niger Delta Avengers, to seek dialogue with the federal government and stop blowing up oil facilities in the country.
“I have gone to Delta State to felicitate with my brother, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa “Delta at 25" and also appeal to those involved in violence, particularly the Niger Delta Avengers to seek dialogue with the federal government to forestall stability in the country, what we need now is for peace to reign so that the economy can grow well, we are really facing challenges but we need peace” he said.
He added that only peaceful measures that can enhance development of a nation.
