As fuel scarcity is hitting harder in Ondo State, owners of filling stations in the state have vowed not to sell petroleum products to motorists until it is available at the NNPC depots.
The Chairman of the Filling Stations Owners, Prince Jimi Adedapo stated this while addressing news men in Akure.
Prince Adedapo explained that petroleum marketers in Ondo state were faced with difficulty of exorbitant pump price because the products were not available at NNPC depots.
He pointed out that the petroleum marketers sourced for the product from private depots which varied between 105 and 108 naira.
According to him, such price was not good for the business, hence the need for their refusal to sell fuel.
Prince Adedapo however urged the federal government to deregulate the oil sector so as to enable filling stations sell at appropriate prices.
