Women groups across the country have supported the decision of the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) to prosecute lecturers who sexually harass female students.

The Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Prof. Agatha Eguavoen, has called for the inclusion of character moulding subjects to the school curriculum as she believes this will build self confidence and moral standing in female students.

She said that the rate of sexual harassment recorded across the country is alarming and has made the case for the inclusion of the said subjects.

She said character moulding subjects will help to correct the wrong mindsets female students tend to have. She agreed that the journey is a long process but said the result would be worth it.
