The Minister of Sports and Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Tamuno Danagogo, has charged coach Stephen Keshi and his men to beat Argentina on their way to the next round of the 2014 World Cup tournament in Brazil.

Nigeria currently sits in second position with four points in Group F, two behind group leaders Argentina.

As it stands, the Super Eagles must secure at least a draw against the Albiceleste when both sides meet later today to guarantee their place in the Round of 16, and Danagogo has urged the team aim for a win.

"I am happy the Eagles put the disappointment of the barren draw against Iran behind them to play their hearts out and win against Bosnia-Herzegovina," the Minister was quoted to have said in a statement released by his Special Adviser, Patrick Omorodion.

"I want them to double their efforts in the last group match against Argentina. The Argentines are beatable, Iran proved it."

Danagogo urged the team to show the kind of Nigerian spirit of rugged determination and commitment they showed against Bosnia-Herzegovina at the weekend.
