Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor Olayemi Cardoso asserted that his role is the second most challenging on the planet.
Addressing the 2024 First Plenary Assembly of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria, Cardoso highlighted the positive outcomes of the Federal Government's reform initiatives, expressing optimism about Nigeria's economic trajectory.
As the event's Chairman, he conveyed that recent reports from the CBN indicated an influx of approximately $1.8 billion into the markets.
Cardoso believes that sustaining this positive momentum will pave the way for Nigeria to overcome economic challenges, anticipating a moderation in the foreign exchange market.
