Many activities are lined up for the Nigerian Senate in April, 2017 as the Senators had a tough month in March between the Presidency and the law making body.

The senators, in the month, experienced may controversies as well as scandal including Senate President, Bukola Saraki's alleged Range Rover fake documents seized by the Nigeria Customs and Senator Dino Melaye's certificate scandal which saw the suspension of former Senate Leader, Ali Ndume for 6 months

---The committees are wrapping up their report on the budget and should be ready soon, Senate President, Bukola Saraki has said.

2. Screen Ministerial Nominee - two nominees were forwarded to the Senate last week in replacement of late Kogi candidate, James Ocholi and Hajia Amina Mohammed, who is now the Deputy Secretary General at the United Nations.

3. Consider issues on Customs new tariffs and the Uniform saga - The Senate may reopen chapter on the new Customs' tariff, most especially, the Uniform Saga of Hameed Ali, CG, Nigeria Customs.

4. Quiz the Secretary to the government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal over indictment of North-east contract scam led by Senator Shehu Sani committee.

5. Confirmation of Independent National Electoral Commission, RECs, which was stepped down over Ibrahim Magu's continued activities as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC acting Chairman

6. Deliberate on EFCC's acting chairman, Ibrahim Magu's confirmation again if the President refused to send in new nomination for the position.
