Politics Aregbesola Meets With Osun Herbalists, Here Is What They Discussed

The governor of Osun state, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, yesterday met the herbalists in the state to promote indigenous means of healing. He made this known at the inauguration of the Board of Traditional Medicine in the state.

At the inauguration, Aregbesola, represented by Dr. Rafiu Kusamotu said traditional medicine has been of tremendous assistance to the black race.

He stated that the state government would assist the herbalists in standardizing their practice in the interest of the well-being of the people of the state.

Chairman of the board, Chief Kayode Esuleke, told his colleagues to pay the sum of 5,000 Naira as practicing fees, as stipulated by the state government so as to obtain the license to operate.

He then warned members of the Traditional Medicine Association to always abide by the code and guidelines of the profession.
