Osun state Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has unveiled ‘Ofada Osun Rice’, to join among major players in the Nigerian rice market and strengthening rice production in the country.
Governor Aregbesola who visited the Onilapa Rice Farm Ogbaagba on Tuesday to meet with the farmers reiterated his government’s effort at ensuring adequate food production for self sustenance of Osun state, saying Nigerians must feed themselves.
Showcasing the harvested rice yesterday, the farmers who partnered with the state of Osun on the project thanked Gov Rauf Aregbesola for his support through the farming season.
