The Gunners bounced back from their 4-0 disappointing defeat on Boxing day in the hands of Southampton at the St Mary's Stadium after beating Bournemouthe AFC 2-0 on Monday night.

Gabriel Paulista shot the Gunners into the lead of the game in the 27th minute after receiving an assist from German's Mesut Ozil, and in the 63rd minute, the former Real Madrid man doubled the Arsene Wenger's men.

So, as it stands, Arsenal are top of the league with 39 points from 19 games, just 1 point ahead of Leicester City, who will play their 19th game of the season against Manchester City on Tuesday night.

Meanwhile, the Epic fixture of the night between Manchester united and Chelsea ended goalless at the Old Trafford.

The two goalkeepers helped their sides keep clean sheets as Louis van Gaal pressure continues to mount at the theater of dreams.

Martial gave Branislav Ivanovic a tough time and another surging run saw him cross for Herrera in the six-yard box but Courtois reacted superbly to block his effort and claw the ball away from the line.

United were on top but Matic spurned a glorious chance on the counter-attack to give Chelsea the lead as he blazed over with only De Gea to beat after being played clean through by Pedro.
