Starting from 2015, the prize money for the ATP world tours in the men's category will be increased to over $100 million.
ATP organisers on Friday revealed that tennis players will have their earnings raised, in a bid to demonstrate the growth of the respective tournaments across all circuits.
There are also plans to have the prize money shot up to an enormous $135 million by 2018, which is expected to be going up on a systemic route.
"The increases at ATP events are a testament to the sustained success of men's professional tennis, as well as demonstrating the ATP's confidence in the strength of its product and projected growth in future years," an ATP statement read.
