Conference of Nigeria Political Parties, CNPP, has condemned Alhaji Mujahideen Asari-Dokubo’s recent statement that Major General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) masterminded last Wednesday assassination attempt on his life, which claimed scores of lives, saying the statement was the height of recklessness and sheer irresponsibility.
In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr Osita Okechukwu, CNPP said Asari-Dokubo’s statement, to say the least, was the height of recklessness and sheer irresponsibility, adding that even the enemies of General Buhari vowed for his integrity, patriotism, uncommon sincerity of purpose and transparency.
Okechukwu said: “One can understand that Asari- Dokubo is one of the beneficiaries of the present administration, which made it possible for him to own a university. However, one is at a loss why the hate monger now possesses more information on state matters than President Goodluck Jonathan.”
