Mr. Adeyinka Sodipo is the new Commissioner of Police that has been posted to the Bayelsa State Police Command, the PUNCH reports.
Sodipo takes over from Mr. Peter Ogunyanwo, who has been redeployed to Police Force Headquarters, Abuja.
In a statement by the command’s spokesman, Asinim Butswat, Sodipo assumed duty on Tuesday.
Sodipo was until his present posting the Commissioner of Police, Osun State Police Command.
He said the new command’s helmsman is a disciplinarian and a professional police officer, who has served in various commands and formations in different capacities.
