Sports Hotel threatens to throw Super Falcons out if NFF fails to pay its bills

Nigeria's Super Falcons are in danger of being thrown out of their hotel because of the inability of the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF)to pay for their lodging allowances.

The Super Falcons are currently camped at Serob Legacy Hotel in Abuja, where they have been preparing for next month's African Women's Championship(AWC) in Namibia.

However reports have emerged that the NFF are broke and have not been able to settle the hotel bills.

The hotel management are said to have given the NFF till the end of this week to pay in some installments of the bills or the team will be thrown out.

“It hurts me that there is no money to manage the programmes of the federation now; instead some people are busy doing politics of who should come in and who should not” an official was quoted to have said by Vanguard Sports.

“What we are doing is just to manage and feed those girls, the hotel is just tolerating us due to the fact that we are long standing customers”.
