Sports Ighalo, Moses And Mikel In 24-Man Invitee Squad For Congo; Cameroon Friendlies

Chelsea midfielder, John Mike Obi, Victor Moses and Vincent Enyeama and Jude Odion Ighalo lead the set of players invited by Super Eagles’ Head Coach, Sunday Oliseh, for next month's double-headed friendly games against Congo and Cameroon in Belgium.

Enyeama was out of Nigeria's Afcon qualifiers against Tanzania this month following the death of his mother while Ighalo was not invited by the National team coach.

Enyeama is joined by England –based Carl Ikeme, who in his debut kept clean sheets against Tanzania and Niger Republic in two internationals earlier this month, as well as home –based stars Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Femi Thomas.

The Super Eagles play the Leopards of the Democratic Republic of Congo on October 8 and the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon three days later, in Belgium, as the Nigeria Football Federation activates its plan to entrench stronger bond and cohesion among the relatively new group, through several friendly matches.
