Ex Super Eagles Skipper and Goalkeeper Ike Shorunmu has joined Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club, Ikorodu United.
Ike Shorunmu is the club's new goalkeeper trainer, Ikorodu United said in a statement.
The club added that Shakiru Giwa will become coach Theodorus Jacob de Jong’s assistant, as they continue their fight against relegation.
“The management of Ikorodu United is glad to announce the addition of new assistant coach and goal keeper trainee, Shakiru Giwa and Ike Shoromu,” the statement said.
Ikorodu United's next game is a ‘Lagos Derby’ against MFM FC at the Agege Stadium on Sunday.
