Politics INEC: About 1million PVCs Are Yet to Be Produced -Jega

Prof. Attahiru Jega, Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC on Wednesday told the Nigerian senate that between 800,000 to 1,000,000 permanent voter cards, PVC are yet to be produced.

‎Jega however promised that the PVCs would be produced before the March 28th date for the presidential elections.

The INEC boss demonstrated to the Nigerian senate how the card readers for the election function.

He just wanted to doggedly proceed with the election irrespective of who or who doesn't have PVC. He is so committed to his election timetable at the detriment of waking realities. Most people who blamed GEJ or PDP for the postponement are sure not aware of this.
