Sports It is "a joy" to play alongside Di Maria and the other new players - Juan Mata

Manchester United forward Juan Mata has expressed his delight playing alongside top players at the club.

United spent over £150million on new players this season, and Mata has described it as "a joy" to play alongside them.

Coach Louis Van Gaal's team ran over Queens Park Rangers on Sunday, with the new players helping in the 4-0 thumping of the visitors.

"They will become more and more adjusted to the team and their quality will help us a lot," Mata said.

"We have been working together for a few days now, getting to know each other, and I'm sure we will be a better team as weeks go by."
Mata added that the win over QPR showed that they are "on the right path".

The Spaniard said in his blog: "In the last few weeks I have been telling you that we are working very well in the training sessions. With so many new players and a new football style we need time to adjust to each other.

"It takes time to bear fruit but I knew that was going to happen. We keep working on it and a victory like this one against QPR comes to show that we are on the right path."
