Incarcerated ex Delta State governor, James Onanefe Ibori, will be released from prison in December, reports from The Nation says.
Ibori was jailed 13 years for money laundering offences by Southwark Crown court in 2012.
It is however unclear if he will return to Nigeria immediately as legal proceedings concerning the confiscation of his assets worth tens of millions of dollars are yet to be resolved.
