Sports Keshi needs to work on the minds of the Super Eagles players - Babayaro

Former Nigerian goalkeeper Emmanuel Babayaro believes that the Super Eagles have the capability to defeat any team in Africa if their mental attitude is right.

Babayaro, one of the goalkeepers who represented Nigeria at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, added that the Super Eagles need to have a psychological edge over their counterparts to be able to dominate them.

And Babayaro added that much of the mental shape of the Super Eagles will rest on how well they are prepped up by Stephen Keshi.

" Thinking in terms of Africa, we can beat any team on the continent, It just comes down to preparing well and the state of the mind of our players.”

" If Keshi puts Nigeria and his career as coach in perspective, he would know there’s need to look beyond the human factor, overlook them and I suppose at that point we should be able to go through,” Babayaro added.
