Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho has taken a swipe at Liverpool and vowed not rest players for their Champions League game against Maribor.
Mourinho's team are in Slovenia to take on Maribor, and with an eye on the weekend's fixture, the Portuguese could be tempted to give some key players a rest.
Liverpool's manager Brendan Rodgers caused a stir with his team selection against Real Madrid on Tuesday, benching seven starters and giving fringe players a start.
And it was immediately interpreted that Rodgers rested the players because of Chelsea's visit at Anfield on Saturday.
"If Liverpool decide to rest players against the European champions it's a question for the Liverpool manager, not for me," Mourinho said.
"Normally, against the most difficult opponents, I'll go with my best team."
