Sports NFF to Super Eagles: It is six points or nothing in the Nations Cup qualifiers

Secretary General of the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) Musa Amadu has said that the Super Eagles are condemned to get all six points in the remaining two matches of the 2015 African Nations Cup.

The Super Eagles travel to Porte Noire next Saturday to play against Congo before returning home to play Bafana Bafana of South Africa.

The African champions are third on the table of Group A with 4-points, while South Africa tops the group with 8-points and Congo are second with 7-points.

At this moment, the Super Eagles must ensure that they win their two remaining games if they hope to participate in the next AFCON championship in Morocco next year.

"We are in a very critical situation as African Champions lie in 3rd place with 4 points from 4 games, Congo has 7 and table toppers South Africa has 8.

"These two games against Congo in Porte Noire on Saturday the 15th on artificial turf and in Uyo on Wednesday the 19th of November are very critical because those 6 points are non negotiable.”

"We must win those two games to stand a chance of qualifying and hopefully the other results end up in our favor to qualify.” the Federation scribe said.
