Nigeria will be one of the countries represented at this year’s Table Tennis World Cup Championship.
This past week,the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF)confirmed Nigeria's participation,with Portugal-based Aruna Quadri the player picked for Africa.
Players were selected via the Continental Cups they took part in,with the various winners emerging for the World Cup.
Twenty players each from the Men and Women's categories will be competing against each other for the title.
Quadri will represent Africa in the Men's competition while Egypt’s Dina Meshref will compete in the Women's draw.
The men's event will be played in Dusseldorf, Germany while that of the women will be played in Linz,Austria.
