A notorious team of armed robbers who've been terrorizing the residents of Ikorodu have finally been nabbed and arrested, Punch reports.
The knife-wielding robbers operate by switching off their victim's generator before attacking them. They are Akin Ayotunde, Isaac Ogbonna, Sola Dede and Sodiq Lawa.
They met their waterloo after robbing a scientist, Hakeem Bello, in an operation that lasted for about six hours. They made away with his car, several laptops, ATM cards, jewelleries and other valuable items. They also withdrew N100,000 from one of the ATM cards before they were blocked.
The matter was reported to the police.
The robbers were nabbed when trying to sell the Mr. Hakeem's car.
