The Supreme Court sitting in Abuja this morning has dismissed the petition of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and its candidate, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) who is challenging the victory of Governor Olusegun Mimiko at the last October 20, gubernatorial poll in Ondo State.

Justice Murktar, Presiding Judge, said, only two out of the five issues for determination in Akeredolu’s appeal are valid.

Daily post reported that the Judgeadded that the appellant failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt criminal allegation of connivance in injection of names.

“When a mercenary expert presents evidence, the court has the right to disregard. ACN’s appeal dismissed and parties to bear costs”.
