26 Aspirants from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP have indicated interest in representing the party in the Anambra gubernatorial election come November 16th, 2013.
The PDP has fixed the Anambra State primary election for August 24th 2013. Whoever emerges as the PDP flag bearer would contest against former governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Professor Charles Soludo of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, Senator Chris Ngige of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, among others.
Aspirants who have purchased the PDP form include Barrister Obinna Uzoh, Sylvester Okonkwo, Chief Ugochukwu Okeke , Senator Andy Uba, Mrs. Josephine Anenih, Nicholas Ukachukwu,Tony Nwoye, Emmanuel Anosike, Obinna Uzor ,Akachukwu Nwankpo, Okeke Ugochukwu, Michael Okoye, Sylvester Okonkwo, Alexander Obiogbolu, Jerry Ugokwe, Walter Okeke, Charles Odunukwe, Chuba Ikpeazu, Eucharia Azodo, Donatus Okonkwo, Chuwuka Onyema; Onyenisi Obianuju, Kramer Agape Ifunayachukwu, Adimachukwu Calista and Chinyere Udemba.
The form costs and nomination form costs 11 million naira for male aspirants and 6 million naira for female aspirants.
