President Muhammadu Buhari has removed Ibe Kachikwu as GMD of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.
He has also constituted a new board by announcing Maikanti Baru as new GMD as provided for under Section 1(2) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Act of 1997, as amended.
