Bosnia-Herzegovina striker Edin Dzeko believes that the centre referee in their 1-0 loss to the Super Eagles on Saturday is not fit to officiate at ongoing 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament.

The Manchester City striker saw his first half goal wrongly ruled out for an offside by the New Zealand official, with replays showing that he was in an onside position.

Dzeko said that they are disappointed crashing out of the World Cup,but that the centre referee should equally go home with them, adding that the referee was shameful.

“The referee was shameful,” said Dzeko. “We are going home and we are sad because of that but this referee should be going home too. “He changed the result and he changed the game. That’s why we lost."

“It was obviously a foul on our captain,” he added. “And before when I scored the goal, it was never offside. We fought till the end but we didn’t have luck today."
