Senator-elect for the Rivers East District, Magnus Abe has described his victory at the Saturday’s rerun election in the state as a reward from both man and God.
Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, had on Sunday declared Abe winner of the Rivers South- East rerun election.
Following his emergence, Abe while appreciating his constituents for voting for him at the polls, said his victory was a reward for faithfulness.
The Senator – elect while extending a hand of fellowship to his opponent, Olaka Nwogu, said there is “no victor, no vanquish”.
He thanked President Muhammadu Buhari, Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi and his wife for their various roles in his emergence.
