The Cable reports that President Goodluck Jonathan has sent eight ministerial nominees to the senate for confirmation.
The president's letter, read by David Mark on the senate floor listed the ministerial nominees as: Patricia Akwashiki (Nasarawa), Augustine Akobundu (Abia state), Fidelis Nwankwo (Ebonyi), Hauwa’u Lawan (Jigawa), Musiliu Obanikoro (Lagos), Kenneth Kobani (Rivers) and Joel Danlami Ikenya, Taraba.
