Bayer Leverkusen midfielder #SidneySam has been left out of #Germany's 30-man provisional list released on Thursday.

Sam was courted by #Nigeria to represent the Super Eagles but the player turned down the overtures and rather opted for his country of birth.

The player was eligible to play for Super Eagles by virtue of his father being a Nigerian, and the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) had already begun the paper works to have him cleared but he declined the offer when he was invited for some friendly games by Germany last year.

Meanwhile in the list released by #JoachimLoew, veteran striker Miroslav #Klose is line to make his fourth appearance at the FIFA World Cup.

The Lazio player is a goal short of Ronaldo's all time record of 15 at the FIFA #WorldCup,which he will be aiming to surpass after he was included in the list.

However, there was no place in the team for Fiorentina's Mario Gomez.
