The officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) arrested a 27 year old philosophy student of Ebonyi state University who was found to be in possession of 5.960kg of cannabis and 660 grams of heroin.
The student, identified as Chukwu Ramseyn Onyekaozuru, was apprehended during the outwards screening of Alitalia paasengers. He had covered the cannabis with dry bitterleaf vegetables inside a bag and had ingested the heroin.
Onyekaozuru has been apprehended and is currently in custody and awaiting to be charged by the relevant court.
