The United States has re-stated commitment to the rescue of abducted schoolgirls of government secondary school, Chibok in Borno state, VANGUARD says.
U.S Deputy Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, said this remains a priority.
Mr Blinken while speaking at a news briefing in Abuja, stressed that defeating boko haram requires a comprehensive approach that would involve the region.
He then pledged U.S support to assist Nigeria in developing a comprehensive package to tackle the boko haram menace.
