Former Super Eagles striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni has been reportedly linked with a transfer move to Queens Part Rangers.
Yakubu was seen in the stands at the Emirates during QPR's 2-1 defeat to Arsenal last Thursday, drawing up insinuations that he could be on the verge of signing up for them.
According to the Daily Mirror, Yakubu is one of the players being considered by QPR boss Harry Redknapp who wants to bolster his attack to help beat the drop.
Already QPR are believed to have landed Mauro Zarate on loan till the end of the season, and are also considering signing Jermaine Defoe.
Yakubu once worked with Redknapp at Portsmouth, and the Nigerian is a proven goalscorer in the English Premier League.
He was able to score more than 100 Premier League goals during his time at clubs like Middlesborough, Everton and Blackburn.
Currently in playing in the Qatar league with Al Rayyan , Yakubu could be open to a move back to England.
