The late Dim Chukwuemka Odumegwu Ojukwu’s son Emeka (Jr) has defected to the All Progressive Congress, APC.
His defection came at a rally held by the APC in Anambra state for the state's upcoming governorship elections. President Muhammadu Buhari was at the rally.
Ojukwu was handed APC’s broom symbol by National Chairman Chief John Odigie- Oyegun, who declared that the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) dead.
Governor Wille Obiano is contesting for reelection on APGA’s ticket while Tony Nwoye will be representing the APC.
