Dr Karo Ogbinaka, Chairman, Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), University of Lagos Chapter, on Tuesday advised undergraduates to engage in meaningful activities while waiting for the end of lecturer’s strike.

He said that undergraduates should make use of libraries to update their knowledge as well as learn vocations.

He said that meaningful engagement of students would distract their attention from vices.

The unionist said that though public universities were on strike, their libraries were open to students to keep them busy.

"Skills such as furniture making, catering, hairdressing, plumbing and event planning and decoration will go a long way in keeping them out of trouble and providing hope for a better future", he said.(NAN)
