Both Kano Pillars and Mark Mentors reach the semi final stage of the DSTV Final 8 championship following their victories over their opponents in their last group game on Wednesday.
Both teams from the Savanah Conference did not lose any of their group games, as Pillars defeated Dodan Warriors 67-66 while the Mentors claimed a 13 point margin over Nigerian Customs which ended 65-52.
Gombe Bulls also qualified for the semi finals on a head-to-head rule, after winning just one out of their three games in the group stage.
The Bulls defeated Lagos Islanders 72-62 in their last group game on Wednesday while Union Bank, who are the 4th team in the last four stage defeated Kada stars 69-60.
The semi finals will now be between Mark Mentors and Union Bank by 4pm on Thursday at the indoor sports hall of the national stadium in Lagos while Kano Pillars will host Gombe Bulls later the same day.
The final and the third place games will be played on Friday at the same venue
