Sports DSTV Basketball Final Eight Playoffs Day Two Results

Mark Mentors and Kano Pillars seem to be the favourites to play the final of the ongoing DsTV Final 8 basketball championship at the indoor sports hall of the national stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

Both sides from the Savanah Conference won their first two games each.

Mark Mentors defeated Gombe Bulls 63-61 on match day two as Kano Pillars brushed past Kada Stars 80-62.

Kada Stars have lost their second game on a row after losing their first to Dodan Warrirors on Monday.

Lagos Islanders recorded their very first victory over Nigerian Customs, as the game ended 65-56.

The Islanders were beaten on Match day one by the Mentors 78-68 while Customs beat Gombe bulls 63-60.

Union Bank also defeated dogged Dodan Warriors 63-57.

The games continue on Wednesday with all the eight teams playing their last group games.

12-2pm Union Bank vs Kada Stars
2-4pm. Mark Mentors vs Customs
4-6pm. Kano Pillars vs Dodan Warriors
6-8pm. Lagos Islanders vs Gombe Bulls
