Sports DSTV Basketball Final Eight Playoffs Day One Results

The DStv Premier Basketball League final eight playoffs Jumped-off on Monday at the indoor sports hall of the National Stadium Lagos with four games each from the Savannas and the Atlantic conference.

Nigerian Customs defeated Gombe Bulls 63-60 in a keenly contested game in the opening game of the playoffs.

The Atlantic conference side, which enjoyed the support of Lagos fans only managed a three points win, after opening an eleven point margin at the end of the third quarter.

Kada Stars were stunned by Dodan Warriors 78-53 after the coach Sani Turn's men were closely marked by the Warriors.

The Kaduna outfit were simply no match for their opponents, who won the second game of the game by a 25 points margin.

Kano Pillars beat Union Bank 67-51 in the third game of day one of the playoffs, while Mark Mentors beat Lagos Islanders with a margin of ten points.

The David Mark team beat their Lagos counterparts 78-68.
