Last week, telecommunications giant Etisalat awarded 72 deserving undergraduates from various Federal Universities in the Northern part of the country.
In fulfilling its social responsibility, this education empowerment scheme which is currently in its 5th year has its goal to offer the best university students in partner institutions a grant towards the successful completion of their courses of study.
Speaking at the event, Chief Executive Officer, Etisalat Nigeria, Mr. Steven Evans stresses the importance of education to improving the Nigerian economy.
Mr.Evans was represented at the event by the Director, Government and Regulatory Affairs, Etisalat Nigeria, Mr. Ibrahim Dikko.
