Members of the seven-man panel constituted by Adamawa State Acting Chief Judge (CJ), Ambrose Mammadi, to investigate the state Governor, Murtala Nyako, and the Deputy Governor, Bala Ngilari, over alleged gross financial misconduct have been ejected by owners of the hotel where they began sitting on Monday.
Daily Independent gathered in Yola, the state capital, on Tuesday that the management of the hotel, J & J Holiday Villa, where the panel held its maiden sitting sent the members packing “for security reasons”.
The impeachment panel was raised on Friday last week by the Acting CJ following a resolution to that effect by the Adamawa State House of Assembly.
