The 2011 BBA winner, Karen Igho, has disclosed that she’s suffering from cancer.
She said it through a tweet: “I have cancer. Are you guys happy?????”
Although she didn’t reveal the nature of her cancer, it would be recalled that she had undergone treatment for lumps found in her breast before she got into the Big Brother Africa house in 2011.
Attempts to contact her manager by Sunday Trust were not so fruitful, as Karen’s manager said he was not at liberty to comment on the issue at the moment.
"We will not comment on the issue of cancer now as it is still a sensitive thing. Medical tests are still been run and we would appreciate if our decision not to comment on it is respected," he said.
Meanwhile, Karen is hosting a fund-raising “Celebrity Football Match” and “Fashion and Lifestyle sale,” proceeds of which will be given to charity.
