Fifty year old Chief Ekanem Edet, a former Secretary of the Mbiabong Village Council, aka ‘Jolly Boy’, has committed suicide, leaving a suicide note for "Buhari", a report from Vanguard claims.
The incident happened at Mbiabong Itam in Itu Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, the report said.
He was caught early in the morning dangling on a suspended robe from the roof of his house.
Edets’s wife and two sons, it was learned, had gone out early in the morning unaware that his remains hung loosely from the roof of his room.
