Authorities have revealed the identity of the attacker who bombed the Manchester Arena during a concert by Arian Grande on Monday night.
According to Chief Constable of Greater Manchester Police, Ian Hopkins, the perpetrator of the attack was 22-year-old Salman Abedi.
He didn't give further details. The bomber's identity is expected to be confirmed by a coroner soon.
“The priority remains to establish whether he was acting alone or as part of a network,” Hopkins added.
Local sources said Abedi is the child of Libyan refugees who moved to the UK to flee Muammar Gaddafi’s regime.
