Human skeleton was found in the pastor’s apartment in Peace Land Estate in the Akute area of the state, last week, after his landlady tried to evict him from his flat over late payment of rent, as he had not paid his rent for a year.

In annoyance, the landlady, simply identified as Iya Lati, had stormed the apartment, ignoring the pastor’s incessant pleas.

It was alleged that the skeleton was that of his sister, Funmi, who mysteriously went missing since 2010 till date.

Oluwatobiloba was arrested by the police in the state after residents alerted them.

The 30-year-old who was paraded before newsmen at the police headquarters, weekend, claimed that the sister (Funmi) was not dead but on a journey and will return to the skeleton this year.s

He was paraded alongside his sister, Elizabeth, residing with him.

He confessed, “She (Funmi) has gone on a spiritual journey and she has been in that position in the last six years.

“We (he and Elizabeth) are expecting her back before the end of this year and we are not afraid to live with her.

“No one, including family members, is aware of this development.

The state Commissioner of Police, CP, Ahmed Iliyasu, described the incident as ‘strange, saying both suspects (Oluwatobiloba and Elizabeth), would be charged to court as soon as investigations were completed.

“We need to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the presence of human skeleton in that flat,” the CP stated.
