Adamawa state's Governor Muhammadu Jibrilla Bindow has stated that governors are not be blamed for the non payment of workers salaries in the country.

According to him, the depletion of the allocation states get from the federal government has made it very difficult for governors to pay salaries. He noted that Adamawa is steady in paying workers salaries.

According to him, Adamawa state workers should appreciate the state government for its effort in paying salaries when it's due.

He spoke on Thursday when he received traditional rulers at the state government house in Yola.
